The college includes ten separate hostels for students (5 for males, 3 for females, and 2 for international students) that include a gymnasium, indoor and outdoor games, and will give a comfortable stay for all students.

The Placement Office at the university plays a pivotal role in guiding students toward employment opportunities and career paths. Through counseling, students gain insights into their interests, skills, and abilities, aiding them in making informed career decisions. The office focuses on enhancing students' professional development by imparting employability skills such as resume building, aptitude, group discussion, and interview skills, which are crucial for securing desired occupations.

The department actively seeks out new career avenues for graduates and postgraduates by establishing connections with various companies and industries. It organizes both on-campus and off-campus recruitment drives annually. The recruitment process typically begins with a pre-placement talk, where companies provide students with insights into their profiles, job roles, career progression, and compensation packages, followed by written tests, group discussions, technical interviews, and HR rounds.

Additionally, the Placement Cell facilitates opportunities for part-time jobs, project work, and internships in companies located in and around Coimbatore. Since its inception, the Placement Office has arranged over 100 placement opportunities for students. Some of the prominent companies that have recruited students from the university include South Indian Bank, TCS, Infosys, Wipro Ltd, IBM, ICICI Bank, and many more.

From the academic years 2014 to 2019, a total of 5,942 graduates were registered, out of which 4,774 students participated in the placement process, and 3,992 students were selected for various roles.

CMS College of Science and Commerce Eligibility Criteria

• Admissions to all the courses are based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination.
• Candidates for UG courses must have completed 17 years of age but should not to over 21 years of age as of the 1st of July of the year of admission.

This college's library contains more than 63,000 books as well as over 200 national and international publications and journals.

Sports: The institute has numerous playgrounds for cricket, football, volleyball, and badminton. Students are encouraged to participate in numerous national and international tournaments. The sports committee is led by college faculty members.

Auditorium and Meeting Halls: The college offers a large auditorium as well as several air-conditioned rooms for lectures, events, and other programs.
